I met Paul Newman. He is the creator of Boggy Creek Gang Camps for teminally ill and chronically ill children. I worked at one of the camps one summer. He was sitting on a wood bench in the mess hall, eating with the campers. It is known he does not like to be bothered.
But it was Paul Newman! So I circled the mess hall like six times refilling my soda. I made a move.

Me tapping him on the shoulder, kneeling down:

Him: pulling sunglasses below his eyes, "Yes," looking me straight in the eyes.

Me: "Umm. Umm. Umm. You eat camp food?" I almost fell backwards looking at his beautiful blue eyes.

That was all I said. He is such a beautiful man. Glad I had that experience.

Like you, sometimes you just have to seize the moment. Carpe Diem. Sounds like a fascinating couple hours of your life. Cool story.

So curious who this handsome man was...

I think your mechanic should give you his friend - who is a mechanic's - name. You know the one who lives a lttle farther down the road. Then when you get there, ask that mechanic where the next trustworthy mechanic is and so on and so on. You did'nt know your mechanic knew a mechanic in the direction you were heading.

The friends you will be making on your advebture will not be fleeting, they will be forever your friend, because thats the way people are made.

You are beautiful and delightful to talk to, You write the way you speak which puts anyone you speak to at ease. Anyone who does speak with you knows you have a great sense of humor, and that is an endearing quality.

One final tip on your adventure, the cigarette lighter is not intended to be only used for lighting things.

Yeah, pretty hard to hitch up a trailer if you don't have a hitch. ;) Although it seems like the Scamp dealer ought to provide that service. Most trailer dealers do. Have fun - can't wait to see pix and hear the stories!
